The honest version

This is a conversation, not a pitch

I build software for a living and I want to build things teachers actually use. The fastest way to find out what those are is to ask the people doing the job. So this is a group call where I ask questions, you talk about the parts of your week that waste your time, and I take notes.

You don't need to prepare anything, and you don't need to know anything about software. If you've ever thought "there has to be a better way to do this," you're qualified.

What Brighton Digital does, and why I'm asking

A short, plain-English look at fast prototyping: getting a rough working tool into your hands in days, then improving it with you.

40 min

You talk, I take notes

I'll ask about the repetitive, annoying parts of your week. Grading logistics, parent communication, attendance, IEP paperwork, whatever it actually is. No wrong answers.

10 min

What happens next

I'll share a written recap with everyone who attends. If something you said is worth prototyping, I'll say so and ask if you want to see it.

Who's hosting

Nikolas Goodrich

Founder, Brighton Digital LLC. Brighton, Michigan.

I spent years building and securing software inside the intelligence community before starting Brighton Digital. I'm veteran-owned, local, and I'd rather ship a rough tool in a week and fix it with you than spend a year guessing. More about the company.

Who this is for: K-12 teachers, instructional coaches, and school staff in Michigan. Friends of friends welcome.
